Cheer Up Charlies is more than just a music venue. It’s a community, a second home, and an everybody space in the Austin music and arts scene where people can express their true selves. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cheer Up Charlies was forced to temporarily close and put a pause on the good times. To help lift spirits and get people excited for Cheer Ups’ post lockdown rebirth, I imagined a live stream music festival hosted by Cheer Ups with the goal of raising funds for musicians who had been unable to perform during the pandemic.
